A personal account is an account that is tied to an individual on Twitter, Facebook, or Gmail. A company account is one that uses a company's name or a brand's name and information. If your username is the same as a domain for a website, that's a company account.
For example:

Company account = @producthunt
Only personal accounts are eligible to contribute on Product Hunt.
